Delhi, Apr 09: Industry chamber CII will take a seven-member delegation comprising
of corporate bigwigs to Singapore for the 'Celebrating India' week from April
10-16. CII president-designate R Seshasayee
would head the delegation, comprising GMR Group chairman G M Rao and Ranbaxy Labs
chairman Malvinder Singh among others, a chamber release said. Commerce
Minister Kamal Nath would inaugurate the function, which would showcase Indian
artistic talent and the diverse aspects of Singapore-India relations. The
event, being organized by High Commission of India in Singapore, CII and supported
by India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF), comes days after the two countries finished

progress made in India-Singapore Economic Cooperation since the signing of CECA
was inspiring and this week would see a mix of cultural celebration with business
meetings and seminars to further boost these economic ties," Seshasayee said. Other
members of the delegation include MindTree consulting executive vice president
Chandra Kumar, Tata Sons executive director Alan Rosling, Satyam Computers senior
vice president Shailesh Shah and IBEF CEO Ajay Khanna, the release said.
